A little bit about us:
Garden Machines Ltd has been trading in Kingsthorpe Hollow in Northampton since 1967, stocking most of the leading brands of garden machinery and equipment. However, the site has actually been selling garden equipment from the early 1930’s under the name Staughtons, who eventually set up Garden Machines as a sister Company.
The business's current owners took over in 1972, and now second and third generations are involved in the day to day running of the Company.
As with many high street stores, we realise that the way customers want to purchase and research their products has changed over the years and there is a real need to embrace the Internet; whilst very importantly still holding on to our core business values: Honesty, Dependability, Respect, Passion.
Hopefully if you review our feedback you will see that we have kept true to these values! We cannot guarantee that we will get things right 100% of the time, but we will guarantee, to endeavour to make things right if we do get it wrong.
We are still very much a bricks and mortar store with sales – service and parts back up and pride ourselves on shop presentation. Generally there is no disparity between the bricks and mortar store and our online shop – we don’t want in store customers feeling penalised for using us, so please feel free to pop in to our store to discuss your machinery requirements. From time to time we may offer in store deals only, due mainly to logistic restrictions. If you do come across any disparities, feel free to bring it to a staff members attention, we will endeavour to sort it out there and then.
