GENERAL TERMS OF BUSINESS
 
Description: 1. The company shall only be bound to deliver goods to Purchaser's general description and shall not be under any liability whatsoever in respect of any variants in specification by the Manufacturer.

Performance: 2. The company shall not be liable for damages or claim of any kind in respect of any delays in delivery of goods or failure to deliver goods or to carry out work by any particular time.

Owner's Risk: 3. Machines and other goods are accepted for repair, stored, operated and driven at Owner's risk.

Prices: 4. Orders for goods are only accepted at prices ruling at date of delivery.

Estimates: 5. In the case of machinery repairs, estimates must be treated as approximate only. The company reserves the right to include additional parts should these be found, on further examination or test to be necessary to make a satisfactory repair. Should the customer decline to accept our estimate then the quoted cost of dismantling, preparation of estimate, and re-assembly will be payable by them.
Quotations will only be binding on the company when they are given in writing on the company's printed form and signed by an authorised employee of the company.

Returns: 6. The company does not bind itself to accept return of any goods for credit providing some have been delivered correct to Purchaser's order. Any goods so accepted are subject to a handling charge.

Cancellation: 7. The company does not bind itself to accept cancellation of orders.

Scrap: 8. Worn or damaged parts which have been replaced will be scrapped on completion of the work and no responsibility can be taken for them unless the Owner has previously made a specific request for the return of such material or lodged a claim with the company under the terms of any Manufacturer's Warranty in respect of such parts.

Waivers: 9. No alteration or waiver of, or addition to, these terms will be recognised by the company without the written authority of a Director of the company.

Orders: 10. The placing of an order for goods or services with an employee of the company constitutes acceptance of these terms by the purchaser.

Ownership: 11. Ownership in the goods will not pass to the customer until payment for the goods has been received by the company in full. Nevertheless risk in the goods shall pass on delivery.
